MERCK Curiosity Challenge

An Instagram AR filter effect was designed in accordance with MERCK's brand guide for their Instagram page.

The product was launched on their official instagram page recently.

Role: Sole UI / UX Designer

Tools: Adobe Photoshop, Audio Jungle (sourcing for music)

Timeframe: 8 - 10 Feb 2022 (3 days)

MERCK is a vibrant science and technology company, and they are very bold and vibrant with their brand identity.

The brief was for the visuals to adhere to their brand guide, thus i derived at two types of design style.


The first version is more colourful representing energy and vibrancy, while adhering to the colour combinations suggested in the brand guide.


The second version served as an informative visual representation when it comes to information heavy contents which features the use of white to contrast with bold and bright colors.

Thus after clients' review, they went with the first design.
